The initiative offers 500,000 lucky tourists the chance to win a travel stipend of NT$5,000 (about $163) between May 2023 and June 2025, encouraging visitors to explore Taiwan’s beauty, culture, and rich history.

How the Lucky Draw Works

This initiative is open to foreign tourists staying between 3 to 90 days and arriving independently

(not as part of a tour group).

Before arriving in Taiwan, eligible tourists need to register on the official website one to seven days prior to their travel date.

Upon arrival at designated airports like Taiwan Taoyuan International or Taipei Songshan, they can scan their registration QR code at a redemption counter.

Winners are notified on the spot and can choose between receiving the NT$5,000 on a pre-paid EasyCard or iPass (for transportation and purchases) or as accommodation vouchers valid at select hotels.
