Expect a lot of tourists during this season because of the Songkran Festival, this season is also a great opportunity for water activities, such as snorkeling and diving.
Wet Season (June to October): Also known as the monsoon season, the wet season brings more frequent rainfall and higher humidity. While it can rain throughout the day, the showers are often short-lived and followed by periods of sunshine. The countryside becomes lush and green during this time, and the waterfalls are at their most impressive. The wet season also brings lower hotel rates and fewer crowds.
The best month to visit Thailand depends on personal preferences and the region you plan to explore. For most travelers, November to February offers the most favorable weather conditions, with cooler temperatures and less rainfall. Traveling to Bangkok, Thailand from Manila, Philippines by plane will take almost 4 hours. The easiest way to get to Bangkok from Manila is by air. Several airlines, such as Philippine Airlines, Thai Airways, and AirAsia, offer direct flights from Manila to Bangkok.
GOING TO THE CITY CENTER FROM THE AIRPORT
The easiest way to get to the city center from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport is by taking the Airport Rail Link, a fast and efficient train service that connects the airport to the city center.
Alternatively, taxis and ride-hailing services like Grab & Bolt (I suggest you download these applications before traveling).
GETTING AROUND BANGKOK, THAILAND
Bangkok is a bustling city with heavy traffic, so getting around can be a challenge. However, there are several modes of transportation available, including the BTS Skytrain, MRT subway, taxis, tuk-tuks, and motorbike taxis.
The BTS and MRT are the most convenient options for tourists, as they are fast, efficient, and affordable.
CURRENCY IN BANGKOK, THAILAND
The official currency of Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). You can exchange your Philippine Peso at the airport, foreign moneychanger, or at selected banks. You can also withdraw money in some ATMs with debit cards, make sure that your card is allowed to do international transactions, and don't forget to inform your bank regarding this to avoid future problems. ATMs are widely available throughout Bangkok, and most shops and restaurants accept credit cards.
