The So Worth It Pizza Tour Goes to Baguio with Free Pizza & Live Music

Baguio City, Philippines, 12 January 2019 - Following its successful kickoff last week at Eastwood Central Plaza, Quezon City, Yellow Cab brought the So Worth It! The Yellow Cab Pizza Tour at Baguio-AyalaLand Technohub to give hustlers what they need to have a head start in 2019: awesome music and delicious food - all for free!

The event gathered music fans, pizza lovers and hardworking hustlers from all around the City of Pines, who were filled up for their so-worth-it chase with Yellow Cab’s edge-to-edge pizzas and legendary chicken and pasta.

The Pizza Tour opened early in the evening with soulful mixes & synthesized beats from Jethro Sandico a.k.a DJ Jethro, who become one of the city’s top spinners to look out for. His set was the followed by punk-pop group Amateurish. With just a couple of guitars, a drum set and unique vocals the five-member band drew crowds and pumped them up for the night with their hits “Turbulance” and “Hiding”. Next up was Turncoats, who bought their extraordinary brand of lo-fi post-rock. Performing fan favourites “People Watcher” and “Exit”, the trio got everyone bopping to their ethereal tunes and raw sounds up until the tour wrapped up.

It won’t be Yellow Cab without the iconic pizza joint’s all-time bestseller, so hustlers enjoyed a free slice of New York’s Finest pizza and a complimentary cup of Heineken beer when they answered this one simple question: “WHAT IS YOUR 2019 GOAL and WHAT MAKES IT WORTH IT?” Limited edition Pizza Passes were also handed out to gusests, which they can use to redeem discounts for dine-in purchases made at Yellow Cab stores.
